• Noise Control: Noise produce by D. G. Set is combined effect of, noise produce by its reciprocating & rotary parts, combustion, exhaust gas flow and cooling air flow resulting sound contains hundreds of measurable harmonics extending over the entire audio-frequency range, high pressure levels.
• Noise is controlled by isolation, absorption & lengthening of transmission path.
• Noise due to reciprocating and rotary parts and combustion is control by closing the D.G. Set and its acoustic treatment. Noise by exhaust gas is reducing through Residential Silencer by reducing the exhaust gas pressure to required level. Noise by cooling air is control through Acoustic Louvers, Hood and Acoustic Treated Ducting. The acoustic Louvers absorb the sound when air flow through them.
• Sound Proofing: The soundproofing of D.G. Set is done in such a way that it reduces the noise of D.G. Set to minimum without affecting the performance of D.G.Set.
• Noise reduction is done by absorbing the sound closing the D.G.Set, except opening required for fresh air inflow, hot sir out flow by using the sound absorbing material and by lengthening the path of sound travel from the opening.
• Acoustic Treatment of Room: Acoustic Treatment of Room is done by paneling of G.I. channel of suitable size are filled with Two Layers of 50 mm Thick 96/64 Density Rock/ Mineral Wool, covered with R. P. Tissue Paper and Expended metal on wall. The Thickness and Density is very important in controlling the sound, as the Rock wool is used for Absorption of sound.
• Acoustic Louvers: Acoustically designed louvers absorb the sound but provide proper flow of Air. Louvers are made of C R C sheet, Filled with Rock Wool/ Mineral Wool and covered with Perforated sheet. The Perforated sheet side with Rock wool/ Mineral Wool is towards the noise, so it can absorb the noise in the air. They are fitted in such an angle and distance, the gap between them is not visible, so air passed through them but sound is restricted. Louvers are provided for fresh air Inflow and Hot air Outflow.
• Acoustic Hood / Ducting: Hoods with acoustic treatment 22/24 SWG G.I. sheet of 25 mm thick rock wax and R.P. Tissue paper with perforated sheet are providing for fresh air and hot air. While is providing for fresh air and hot air. While Hood lengthening the transmission path of sound, its acoustic treatment absorbs the sound.
• Fresh Air Inflow: Fresh air requirement for Combustion and Cooling of Engine and Alternator is provided by axial flow fans with reputed makes electric Motor.
• Hot Air out Flow: Hot air from engine flow to separate hot air chamber where it is removed by Axial flow fans reputed make electric Motor. Out side the room through acoustic ducting and louvers.
• Doors: 4″ thick Acoustic Treated doors are made out of 1.6 mm Press Bent C R C Sheets supported with stiffness channel /angle as per site requirement at the time of fitting. Doors are provided for easy maintenance of Generator

We are able to offer a standard range of DG Set Sound Proof canopies or DG Set Sound Proof Enclosures from 5 KVA up to 2000 KVA. These canopies are offered for different generators having different specifications, specifically designed for use with diesel engine or Gas Engine generating sets. They are principally of the drop over design, although a fully de-mountable option is available for applications where installation space is limited. The drop over design has the advantage of low installation time, quick access to the generator set for major maintenance, integral weatherproofing and it may be re-used at alternative sites. All our generator Sound Proof Canopies are designed to allow the maximum aspiration and cooling airflow required so the engine does not overheat. Weather louvers, acoustic louvers, splitter and baffles are provided to suppress the noise where required. Acoustic enclosures will be as varied as the customer''s requirements. The enclosure outer walls generally consist of 1.6-2 mm thickness of CRCA steel sheeting, and are internally lined to meet your requirements. The lining material is rockwool covered with GI perforated sheet. Acoustic enclosures for diesel engines (generator sets) need to handle the aspiration and cooling airflow through inlet and outlet attenuators, acoustic louvres, or baffles, and provide flexible connections from the radiator to the outlet. Painting of the equipment can be included in our manufacturing, and will vary from finishing with machine enamel to two-pack epoxy, powder coating or other options. Most of our acoustic enclosures are completed at our factory and are ready to go directly into service. Each acoustic enclosure installation is treated individually. Site evaluations are carried out to determine the type of enclosure required.
